1. The Tardy in Red - My prize for winning the Solestruck photobooth contest; simply can't wait to wear them! I wish I could fast forward the warm season and bring in the cold.

2. The Erikson Fur in Taupe - I got this from PlumForPolly for a throwaway price of $50. They have occasional promotions and the lucky ones get the best deals. Keep an eye out for them! These boots are a little small for me but I'll work my way around it. Warm and comfortable.

3. The Rumble in Black Suede - These are a really cute pair of winter boots. The  pictures don't do it any justice, I tell you. You'll see me wearing them a lot once fall starts to creep in!

Now it's time for the Litas to make their way into my closet and then I'm all geared for a lovely winter. Oh yes.

Plain Enough

[vj-style top, hidesign bag, label-less jeans, blowfish sandals, asos pendant]

It's been a while since I had last worn my jeans out of the house. I used to be such a denim girl before, but the Delhi heat made me think otherwise. My outfit for today is rather boring and regular. Yay! for dressing down a little [for a change].

Also, I got myself some really yummy deals on a few JCs [one for free ;)] so I'll be sharing them with you on my next post. Till then, stay safe.

Much love,
Imsu

It's a funny world

[tailored maxi dress, vintage bag, Converse shoes, thrifted outer]

I don't do sporty, but I think the comfort that comes with Chuck Taylors paired with a backpack is slowly growing on me. I picked up this mini backpack at a vintage store back home and I was super excited about it, probably because it was the first 'good' secondhand bag I had found. Plus it has enough space to carry my camera. Double score!

I've also decided on which pair to get from Solestruck as my prize for the Photobooth contest. Yes, it's the Jeffrey Campbell Tardy in red! My sister says it's ugly, but I'm still [blindly] in love with them. To hell with everything else. I'm on a private mission to collect boots for this fall/winter. So far so good! Yes?

Boy, do I sound overly materialistic in all my posts? I think I do. I'm just very passionate about shoes. And obsessive too. However, there's more to me than just some serious shoe lovin'. Care to read a little bit more about me? I've summarized a part of myself in bits and pieces below, if you're interested.

  • I like to sing and make recordings
  • I love dogs and anything cuddly
  • I watch everything on Star World when I'm bored
  • I like to return favours
  • I always work behind the scenes
  • I'm a mountain climber [metaphorically]
  • I don't like negativity but I'm a pessimist because of how careful I like to be
  • I find it easier to express myself in words
  • I cry during movies
  • I am genuinely nice [bragging]
With this, I rest my pen [fingers?] for today.

I recently wrote a guest post for ENVIshoes for their new Tumblr and I thought I'd share it here too. I'll just leave you guys a link and you can go through it over HERE. I'm proud to say that I am the first guest blogger for their new blog. [Oh, little joys!]

Almost Sepia

[ASOS bodysuit, Vintage skirt, Urban Outfitters Kimchi Blue sandals]

My blogger dashboard is practically overflowing with blog posts, owing to the fact that I follow way too many blogs. I hardly have enough time to go through my favourites, let alone the rest. It all comes back to exams and more academics! I'm forever doomed, I tell ya.

Apart from that, I've been cutting some of my old clothes just for the heck of trying out some DIYs and it's pretty amusing how fun it actually is! In The Detail's post got me inspired to try altering some of my clothes too. I should get the hang of it soon and will do a post on my successful [failed] projects.

Coming to the photographs below, I didn't quite like the dim yellowish glow of the night lights so I tried giving it that sepia effect which didn't turn out so bad. [right?] Went a little shopping for my dad's birthday [belated] and in the process, ended up with a few things for myself too.

Win Win!

[You can see that those sunnies are new! I haven't even removed the sticker from the glass :P]

I made this silly GIF for the Solestruck Spill It Contest but I got lucky and I got chosen as one of the 20 winners. Just thought I'd post it over here because I realized that I hadn't blogged for about a week [again!].

Also, I would like to thank everybody who voted for me at the Photobooth contest. I've won myself a pair of shoes from Solestruck all because of your help! I haven't decided on which one to get but I'll let you know as soon as I make up my mind. The Jeffrey Campbell Tardy in red seem to be out of stock so I'm pretty lost as to which one I should pick.

Anyway, I hope you're all having a lovely August. We have a good long Independence Day weekend coming up so I promise to post more before the end of the month!

P.s. I am thinking of selling the ASOS sunnies if anyone is interested. They're way too small for my face.

Solestruck is having a contest on their Facebook page and I thought I'd give it a shot too. Who doesn't want to win shoes worth $200, right?

They have this app called Photobooth and every 2 weeks they have a contest where you submit photos of yourself wearing the shoes bought from their site. The rules are pretty simple. The entry with the most votes win! So, I'd like a little girly help from you all. Please spare a vote? You can vote once everyday for a week so I'd really appreciate it if you spent a couple of minutes on their application and voted for me!

Here is my submission. My Senso Agnes finally made an appearance!

Mine is titled FLEURO NEON

** Update!
I did win! Thank you everybody, whoever voted for me!
