I have a high propensity towards gold jewelry, like many of you, and I tend to over indulge in it a little bit. I never really had a thing for accessories till about a few months ago though. If you've been reading my blog since I started blogging, or scrolled down to my older posts, you'll find that I seem to contradict myself with each post much without my notice. Most of it, I would owe to my fluctuating tastes and preferences, of course. I am a walking contradiction of the person I claimed I were in the past, although my values would probably remain the same. There was a really crisp quote along the same lines but I can't recall the exact phrases.

Also, gold [plated] ankle cuffs are mighty classy, don't you think? You can find these in OASAP.

Tummy Tumbling

[pants from PML, forever new bralet, label-less denim vest, promod sunnies, carlton london shoes]

The past few weeks have been quite stressful and exciting in a way, but it's safe to say that I'm totally bummed out and need a major vacation, which is outright impossible right now. I had to move to Bangalore right after my exams, and braved this tiresome fiasco with mixed feelings, so here I am again.

I don't think I've really figured out a way to keep my blog running, but maybe with time I'll come up with something. No tripod, no photographer boyfriend, no nothing. The worst fear of a fashion blogger has finally chanced upon yours truly. Things will hopefully fall into place soon, and I'll at least try to update the blog once or twice a week, although I don't guarantee it.

Coming to what I'm wearing here, this was an outfit I had worn to the movies with a very stylish friend of mine, who convinced me to go out in this (and also photographed it). You know how it is in Delhi when we show a little skin, but I don't give two hoots about how people perceive my taste in clothing and style, although it's a different scenario here in the university campus, about which I shall elaborate on in some other post.

Till then, adieu!

Hello, Pret-amoda

The online retail business in India has suddenly taken off to a whole new level, and I've found myself browsing through Indian online stores, times plenty. Maybe it's because of the fall in the value of the Rupee that I've resorted to this, but I'm definitely going to be giving them more credit [the credit that they deserve], one of which is Pret-Amoda

They have revamped their website and there are plenty of shiny new things that you might want to add to your wardrobe. The singularity in their collection is something that I look for in any online store, apart from a good customer care team. The major highlight would be their one-of-a-kind accessories, jewellery, and my personal favourite, Geisha Designs. Despite the fact that most of their garments are very likely to empty out my wallet, I think they do have a pretty cool collection.

Here's a glimpse of a few of my most revered items from Pret-amoda.

[vintage skirt and top, lipsy shoes, forever new ring, belt from the geisha pearl]

Who would have thought that I would get time off to go out and have some girly fun in this sultry weather. Four papers down and three more to go, my exams have got me chained to my study table [oh how I wish that were actually true] although I'm always desperately looking for inspiration online every once in a while. With most of my clothes packed away in suitcases, my dress-up games have come to a stand still; more like I'm stuck in a wardrobe limbo of some sorts.

You must have noticed that I've been adorning my body with a lot of gold [plated] jewellery. Somehow they seem to have that warm tone that complements my rather dusky skin. And you can't miss that pretty blue parasol that I got from ASOS last year that's been saving my face from all kinds of sunburns, teamed up with a good sunblock lotion, of course. A little mishandling resulted in one of its ribs to break. Poor thing. I really should have taken care of it, my new found love. Ha. It's funny how we profess our love for inanimate objects at a drop of a hat, but find it so difficult to do the same for people. We can be so amusing, us humans.

P.s. the winner of the OASAP giveaway is Fatima. Yay!
